Dyb and Dob pictures!
A little while back I did a commission for these guys, which was a lot of fun. In addition to making pics for the website (with more to come) the Leaders held a small colouring competition for the Beavers and Cubs (and some of the leaders!) which I got to judge! Here are the awesome entries; it was very hard to choose the winners :D
I'm looking forward to doing some more pics for them as well as a couple of website headers and hopefully some more pics for the kids to colour!

Time keeps on slipping...
Does anyone else ever get the feeling that no matter how hard they work or how much they do, it never feels like it's enough? I'm finding this at the moment, which is bad considering I work part-time at my day job and in theory should have more free time to do stuff in! I think it's just me being hard on myself but I can't shake the feeling that I should be some kind of unstoppable churning machine. I know this is unrealistic but there's so much I want to do as well as commissions, shoe and t-shirt designs and what-not, I feel I should be working longer hours. I'm a bit of a hermit as it is so this probably wouldn't be a good thing! Maybe I need to lower my harsh expectations of myself. How do other artists balance this out? Answers on a postcard!

Make Your Own Postcard!
FINALLY I can post this as I've been waiting bloody ages for the postcards to come! This is the fun new gimmick I've been farting about with for the last week or so: Make Your Own Postcards! I wanted to do something quirky, quick and colourful that could also be expanded on and this seemed like the perfect thing. I'm selling these in sets; you get 4 oversized postcards and a set of random vinyl stickers to play with and create your own image. There are even speech bubbles to suit the occasion! I'm also looking into making some mini sticker books too to sell with stickers and some Make Your Own Xmas Cards. These can be bought over at my Etsy shop!
Etsy Shop back on-line!
My on-line shop is now back up after several months of neglect! It's a bit sparse at the moment but I will be updating items from today so keep an eye out. I will hopefully be selling packs of my unconventional xmas cards soon too but as Royal mail has gone tits up in Britain, I can't guarantee when they'll be here. I'll also be selling awesome Make Your Own Postcard packs; supplied is one blank(ish) postcard and a set of random vinyl stickers to go crazy with and make your own crazy design! I'm still waiting on the postcards but I can't wait to get pics up as the stickers look fantastic!

Commissions finished!
Dr Strange and The Shadow are done and done! I had a blast painting them; so much so that I've begun to sketch out a ton of other characters for future paintings. I'm expanding to video game characters too (more for my own amusement but I know people will like them!) and some '80's cartoon characters which will be a lot of fun. Some sketches so far include Usagi Yojimbo, Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Phoenix and Havok. Any suggestions for more would be welcome!

Workin' on Commissions!
I've been working on the 4 commissions I received from peeps at Bics the last couple of days and it's been really fun. Belldandy and Thanos are pretty much done minus some small tweakage and The Shadow and Dr Strange are in the flatting stage. Belldandy has been my first female character and was frustrating yet satisfying at the same time! I'm also very fond of Thano's chin!
