Stickers in my shop!

My online shop now has several new sticker packs up for craps, most notably the Nudibranch stickers (yay for sea slugs!) and the Cryptids stickers. Also available are Transformers and Watchmen packs with some Marvel and DC ones to come!

Vlod and Sprinkles Go Walkies!

A quick comic just to test out colours and technique! Think I'm getting the sequential bug back! :D

Squid Bits Daily Comic #33-34

I've made it past 30 daily comics - woot! It's been really fun as well as sometimes being a bit of a struggle but I'm glad I kept it up. A lot of the stuff I've been drawing in the daily comics will no doubt pop up further down the line; I've found it a great place to put ideas to work on later. With that said, I fully intend to make a comic series (only small, mind) of Vlodflorlax the Eviscerater and his Puppy, Sprinkles! I was thinking about the characters on my way to work this morning (bike riding is great for thinking about illustration ideas) and have a couple of one-pagers I want to draw. Expect silliness and innards!
I'll also be posting a Bristol Con update in the next day or two and a feature on a rather awesome zine, the second issue of which I make an amusing guest appearance!

I'm a teeny bit behind with my Daily Comic, but fear not! I will be caught up in a couple of days! :P

Squid Bits Daily Comic #29

If drawings appeared each time I farted, I'd be up to my neck in paper!

Huzzah! The last two paintings for the con are complete! I'm just finishing off minor things at the moment which is good, and by tomorrow will be pretty much sorted. We'll be setting up tomorrow evening all ready for Saturday morning. Please do come along if you can!

Street Fighter 2 characters!

Three more to add to the pile! Street Fighter 2 isn't my favourite beat 'em up (Tekken for the win, if you please) but it's still a lot of people's favourite so I thought I'd have a go at a few of the more popular characters! These will be available to buy at the Bristol International Comic Expo this coming weekend. Each large painting will be £25 and small paintings £10 (exclusive con prices!) I've got two more to complete the set and then it's the fun task of making keyrings from the scans. No doubt any that are not sold will be up for grabs in my online shop.

Print sets!

There are now 2 sets of prints available in my on-line store. £7 plus postage and packaging gets you five 6x4 glossy prints. There are two sets to choose from in a bunch of fun colours and designs. Throw away that boring old photo of Grandma and use the frame for a picture of a hillbilly kid or farting dog instead!

Robot Comic!

Here is the robot comic I drew that was featured in this anthology. Again, no photoshop; just pen, ink, tip-ex, photocopying and kurecolour pens! Embarassingly, I'm the only person to have written a comment for this on Amazon! :P

A weekend of working!

This weekend, I've pretty much just been painting. The superheroes and film characters are piling up; I just hope they're quirky enough for people to want to buy them! I'm down to 5 canvases at the moment which will respectively be housing several Street Fighter 2 characters and a couple of horror icons. I wont ruin the surprise on them!
Also, I've been getting some awesome mini prints printed up and will be selling these very soon in my shop. They're 6x4 photo quality, glossy pieces of goodness that will be sold in packs for a reasonable price. They will also be adorning my table at the Bristol con!

Video game and Marvel characters!

The painting Odyssey continues! I'm aiming to get 25 8x8 inch canvases done for the Bristol Con and at least 6 5x5's. I'm already at 17 large paintings so time permitting, I should be good! As usual, having a great time painting these; just hope they sell as well as they did at the Brum show last year. Thanks for the comments on my old comics; I'm getting the hankering to make some new ones! Still enjoying the Daily Comics and think I've found a good working routine for them. I'm at 2 weeks now - let's see how much longer I can do them!
